Search for the snow goose
It's that time of year again - time for the geese migrations. We were hoping to spot a large group of snow geese this last weekend at the Fort Boise Wildlife Management Area. As soon as we arrived we could hear hundreds of geese honking and squeaking, but couldn't see any. Turns out they were all in a pond that had a big dirt berm and tall grass around the edges. Sneaky geese..... We decided to wait and see if they would fly up. Eventually they did! It was such an amazing site!

Wow! That is beautiful. What a site! I've been thinking everything is so dull and brown around here, but you managed to capture the beauty in that too! Great shots!
